Delivery Information

J D Williams offers a number of delivery options.

Standard delivery takes 3-5 days. Customers in some areas can choose a specific day and address to receive their package, known as Nominated Delivery.

Next day delivery is available on items ordered before 8pm.

Next Day and Nominated Delivery is also available on a Sunday on orders placed up to 12pm on Saturday on some items in certain areas, depending on the items ordered and delivery location. Preference can be given for a morning (up to 1pm) or afternoon slot.

There is also the option for delivery to one of 3000 myHermes ParcelShops in the UK at not extra cost. Usually open from 7am to 10pm, 7 days a week, a text message and email is sent when a package is ready to be collected when convenient, with a unique PIN code to confirm the customer's identity.

Larger, more expensive items may also incur an extra delivery charge to cover the cost of hiring extra delivery staff. This will clearly marked with the item.

Returns Policy

If for any reason items need to be returned, customers can arrange a courier collection on the J D Williams website, or telephone the Enquiry Line, select option 1 and follow the instructions. Alternatively, if the courier's number was left with the parcel a return can be arranged directly with them.

Customers must remember to obtain and keep a receipt, as the unique reference code on the receipt must be quoted in any enquiries about the return, and the receipt kept until a credit for the return has been received.

If there is a myHermes ParcelShop within a convenient distance, returns may be made there, from early morning to late at night, 7 days a week, by taking in the securely sealed parcel with a returns address clearly displayed and dropping it off at the nearest myHermes Parcelshop.

If returning any items bought through a special promotion, such as 3 for 2, or buy 1 get 1 free, all the items bought within that deal must be returned.
