History of eDreams

Opening Times

As an international, online e-commerce business, eDreams is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so booking a hotel last-minute isn't a problem! Customer service can be reached by following links on each of the appropriate pages (Flights, Hotels, etc.) and then by selecting the topic of the query.

Generally, customer service for flights can be reached by calling 0333 300 0297 from UK numbers, and operates from 5am to 7pm Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm on Saturdays, and 9am to 6pm on Sundays. Customer service and queries about your orders will require your reference number to be on hand.

Hotel-only bookings are dealt with exclusively on 0203 564 6725, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Mostly, queries can be dealt with online through email service. Hotels and car rental both boast a round-the-clock service to help with any problems. It looks like eDreams never sleep!

Delivery Information

All orders are immediately sent to the email address you provide. They will come with an order reference number, which is important if you need to make amendments to your order.

Cancellation Policy

As eDreams is a travel agency, they are bound by the conditions of the companies they work with.

For flights, bookings can generally be cancelled with sufficient notice. The exception to this is low-cost carriers like Ryanair and EasyJet which do not allow cancellations. However, economy-class tickets are often non-refundable and so may only receive a partial refund. If you booked an airfare through eDreams' Standard or Premium service, the voluntary cancellation will be free of charge; otherwise it will incur a £25 administration fee.

Hotels can be cancelled up to the time limit they present when they are booked. This is often 24 hours from the intended check-in time and date, but some popular destinations may be stricter and want cancellations to have more warning. Hotel cancellations should be conducted by calling the hotel-only phone number.

Bookings for flights and hotels will each need to be cancelled separately. In the event of cancelled plans, both reservations will need to be cancelled.

Cancellations or modifications to car rental bookings are made through an online form requiring your email address and your rental reference number.

Security & Reviews

eDreams receives generally favourable reviews from consumers. Even on TrustPilot, which skews towards lower ratings (as people are more likely to comment on negative experiences than positive ones), it retains a healthy 6.9/10. Examples of poor reviews are unexpected prices, but these can be avoided by understanding that extra fees airlines charge (like for optional extra baggage) are not included in the shown price.
