History of Clarins

In 1954 Jacques Courtin-Clarins founded his company upon the invention of a revolutionary massage oil. The patrons of his spa in Paris insisted that he sell it to them. From then on Clarins has been selling high end skin care products and in 2012 it was ranked first for facial skin care products in Europe and number on in the world for body skin care products.

Clarins now sells its products globally, 87% of its products are exported to other countries. It creates the majority of these products in its very own research and development division, following in the footsteps of its founder.

Delivery Information

Clarins deliveries are centralised in Belgium then dispatched world wide with the DHL delivery company. The Clarins online store only delivers to the UK mainland and Northern Ireland. Once the order has reached the central logistics centre and is properly packaged you will be sent a dispatch email from Clarins. Dispatch time is usually 1 - 3 business days days. Once dispatched you can track your parcel via the DHL website using the unique parcel number provided in your dispatch email.

For deliveries to multiple addresses, multiple separate orders will have to be made. You can only place one delivery address per order.

Standard delivery: £3.50 This can take up to seven business days from the moment you receive your dispatch notification. Standard delivery is free on orders of £50.00 and over. Express delivery: £10.00 This takes only a maximum of three working days, though deliveries to some more remote locations may take longer.

Returns Policy

Clarins have a long cooling off period of 30 days for returns. If you want a refund or a product exchange due to an error with an item they ask that you call them or email to explain how to return your products. For returning Beauty Sets or other set grouped items, if one product is faulty the whole set must be returned.

Only products that are unopened and unused will be accepted for refund or replacement, unless the reason for return was that the product was damaged or defective. You must retain proof of postage for all returns.

All of the above policies only relate to products purchased at the online store. Regulations for products purchased at outlets or other locations may vary.
